Physics-Based Claw Machine Simulator
About The Project
This is a demo of a physics-based interactive claw machine I developed in the Unity engine. Unlike traditional arcade games with predictable outcomes, every movement and interaction in this simulator is driven by a real-time physics engine, making each attempt a unique challenge.
Technical Details
This project was originally designed as a multi-device experience for a client event, where an iPad controller would communicate with a PC display via Socket.IO. For this public web demo, the controls have been adapted for keyboard input.
The core of this project lies in its realistic physics simulation, which governs the movement of the claw, the prize balls, and their interactions.
Controls:
- Arrow Keys/w: Move the claw
- Spacebar: Drop the claw
- R: Restart game
This demo is a showcase of my skills in gameplay programming, physics simulation, and creating polished, interactive experiences. Thank you for playing!
